A SIMPLE WAY TO SUPPORT YOUR TEAM

How Football Squares works

A Football Squares board has 100 squares arranged in a 10 × 10 grid. One football team represents the rows, and the other represents the columns. Each square gives you one row-and-column combination.

  1. Choose your squares. Open your group's board link, sign in, enter a public first name or nickname, and click an available square. You can reserve more than one. Click one of your unpaid squares again to release it while the board is open.
  2. Pay your organizer. Follow the payment instructions on the board. Your organizer collects the money outside this website and marks your squares paid. Check the posted square price, currency, and prizes before joining.
  3. Get your numbers. Once all 100 squares are reserved and marked paid, the organizer locks the board. The app randomly assigns the digits 0–9 once across the columns and once down the rows. Numbers stay hidden until assignment, then remain fixed for the game.
  4. Match the score digits. At the end of the first quarter, halftime, third quarter, and the final result, use the last digit of each team's cumulative score. The square where the row team's digit and column team's digit meet wins that checkpoint.
  5. Check the results. The organizer enters the scores, and the board shows each winning square and its prize. The final checkpoint includes overtime. Organizers pay winners outside the site and record the payout status.

Example: 23–17

If the row team scores 23 and the column team scores 17, look for row 3 and column 7. Their intersection is the winning square. The square's booking number, such as #42, is just its location on the board and does not determine the winner.

Prize amounts vary by fundraiser and may be zero at some checkpoints. Organizers can change the posted prizes until the board locks; then the prizes and number assignments are permanent. A square can win at more than one checkpoint. Paid squares require the organizer's help with a refund and release. Locked or archived games do not allow square releases. This site is free to use, has no ads, and does not collect payments.
